Describe a real purchase
Choose a representative product and write down how a customer should find it, select an option, pay and receive it. Include countries, currencies, language needs and any special ordering rules. Check payment and delivery providers in the markets you actually serve; do not assume they are equally available on every setup.
Decide who will maintain the store
A managed platform can simplify some infrastructure tasks, while still requiring attention to apps, theme changes and business settings. A WordPress-based store gives you choices about hosting and plugins, which also creates maintenance responsibilities. Ask who will handle updates, backups, troubleshooting and routine content edits.
Look beyond the initial quote
Compare the ongoing items relevant to your setup: platform or hosting costs, paid apps or extensions, payment-provider charges and support. Prices and plan features can change, so confirm them with the providers before committing. A low starting cost is not useful if the team cannot operate the chosen setup comfortably.
Test the difficult part first
Before investing in a full design, investigate the requirement most likely to limit your choice. That might be a specialised product option, a connection to an existing system or an Arabic checkout requirement. A focused demonstration helps expose restrictions early. Neither platform guarantees sales; product information, customer trust and your operations still matter.
